From September 14, 1936, through the school year of 1974, the little school on Miller Street provided a safe and welcoming environment for youngsters and their dedicated teachers. Through the following decades, the building and its occupants established a foundation for excellence that continues today in the highly-respected Atlanta Public Schools.
